As an owner builder/renovator I had a concept drawn up by an architect and approved by council for construction.
Although I am a tradesman in my own right and do possess many skills most do not, the task of building and renovating a home is very much a daunting task. As a result I have had to engage industry tradesman to help me.
Clifford Harris was one of two carpenters I used throughout my project, and who was there from pouring foundations, through to standing frames, and final finishing details.
Along the way I encountered many issues, as most do, which include incorrect concrete sizing and location, incorrect frames for level 1 and incorrect steel. All of which led to delays in construction and a need to adapt and overcome in order for the build to continue moving forward.
I found that Clifford was exceptionally good at looking at the bigger picture when facing these issues and quickly and efficiently came up with an answer to keep the project moving forward. This ability along with his skilled hands on ability to carry out every aspect of carpentry and building in general has allowed me to complete a challenging and very successful building project.
